Lisa Dorfer

On April 13th, 2016, the Mossos d’Esquadra (the police force of Catalonia), in collaboration with the German police, raided three homes in Barcelona, which culminated in the arrest of two women comrades accused of expropriating a branch of the Pax Bank (which is owned by the Vatican) in Aachen, Germany. The ensuing trial resulted in the acquittal of one of the comrades, and a sentence of 7.5 years for Lisa, a comrade who has been very actively involved in anarchist, feminist and anti-racist struggles in Barcelona.

Operation Scripta Manent

In the early hours of September 6, an operation coordinated by the Digos [political police] of Turin led the searches of 30 homes invarious Italian regions (Piedmont, Liguria, Lazio, Umbria, Lombardy,Abruzzo, Campania, Sardinia and Emilia Romagna) and the arrest of five anarchist comrades accused of subversive association with terrorist intent: Anna, Marco, Sandrone, Danilo and Valentina; in addition, a notification in prison for Nicola and Alfredo. The operation, called “Scripta Manent” [from Latin proverb “verba volant, scripta manent” — spoken words fly

Andrei Dzhamburiyev

Andrei Dzhamburiyev is an anarchist from Brest. On October 4, 2016 sentenced to 3 years of house arrest for malicious hooliganism. In May 2016 he had a random street fight with some bullies. This was qualified as a misdemeanor and he got a warning against further violent actions.

Later the organised crime department of police learned about the case and requalified it as a felony, basically charging a person twice for one incident.

Aachen

On Wednesday, April 13, at 5 in the morning, an operation was started by the Mossos d'Esquadra in which two private addresses and a social center of the La Salut district were raided.  Twenty people who live in the building were detained for twelve hours.

Antonis Stampoulos

Arrested on October 1st 2014 exiting a garage in Veronas and charged with participation in Revolutionary Struggle despite not having evidence of either his participation in this organization or the responsibility of R.S. for the acts of which it is accused of.  See his trial statement.

It is unclear whether he was convicted at this trial or not.

Graziano Mazzarelli

The campaign against the building of the Turin-Lyon high speed rail link has been running for 20+ years and regularly produces new arrests as the Italian State tries to suppress resistance.  Three anarchists, Lucio Alberti, Francesco Sala and Graziano Mazzarelli, were arrested on July 11, 2014, in connection with the action at the Chiomonte TAV site between May 13 & 14, 2013. On February 9, 2016, Lucio and Francesco were sentenced to 2 years and 2 months, and Graziano was sentenced to 2 years and 10 months.

Francesco Sala

More than 400 people are accused of resistance against this unnecessary and imposed mega project which is going to destroy the environment and the finances of this country, and which excludes the possibility of building other smaller necessary projects.
