Vasiliy Kuksov

Vasiliy was born in Serdobsk (Penza region). He studied at Agricultural academy, and worked as an constructing engineer in Penza. He volunteered in animal shelters. Since being a student interested in music: many times participated in autor’s song contest “Hoper,” member of “Academic” band, used to perform in Penza Philharmonia. Enjoys nature and hiking. He married his girlfriend who he dated for 10 years three months before being arrested.

Andrey Chernov

Andrey was born in the city of Kamenka, Penza region. He studied at the Penza Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. He is interested in rock music, programming, muay thai. Participated in competitions and won prizes. Vegetarian, took part in the actions “Feed the hungry”. He lived with his twin brother Alexei in a rented apartment in Penza. He worked at the factory as a fitter.

Mikhail Kulkov

Mikhail was born, studied and lived in Penza. He graduated from the Penza Trade and Economic College, specialty cook-technologist. After studying he served the army as radio man. After army he planned to open a fast-food joint for the beginning, and in the future a cafe.

Legal Case

He was detained on July 4, 2018 in the frame of the investigation of the so-called “Network” case, and sentenced to 10 years in prison for involvement in a “terrorist community” and attempting to sell drugs.

Viktor Filinkov

Viktor was born in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan. From the age of 10, he was interested in remote control robots, fixing electronic devices, and computer programming. After school he moved to Omsk (Russia) where he started working as computer programmer (coder), linux-community user, open-source software and open-internet enthusiast and gave lectures about internet-security. He is also a left-wing activist, antifascist, supporter of working unions. He moved to Saint-Petersburg in 2016.

Joaquín García

Detained on November 19, 2015 after the arrest of Kevin Garrido after the attack on the prison training school. Police say they have been under investigation for months.

Joaquín was convicted of the explosive attack against the 12 police station in San Miguel, accused under the arms control law. After remaining in prison, he was able to access house arrest from where he escaped later to be captured in September 2016, carrying a revolver and ammunition, returning to preventive detention.

Siyanda Mngaza

Siyanda is a young Black woman serving a four-and-a-half year sentence for defending herself from a racist attack.

On 25 May 2019, what started as a joyous bank holiday for Siyanda ended as a nightmare and changed her life forever. Without any provocation, Siyanda was racially abused and physically assaulted by adults much older than her.

Margaret Aislinn Channon

Margaret Aislinn Channon plead guilty to federal charges for reportedly lighting five Seattle Police Department cars on fire in the middle of a protest in Seattle during the George Floyd Uprising of 2020. She faced a prolonged case, serious state repression, and unfounded accusations from prosecutors and police throughout the course of her proceedings.

In March 2022 she was sentenced to 5 years incarceration. After 60 months' imprisonment, she will face 36 months of supervised release with special conditions. Her expected release date is June 5, 2026.

Michael Kimble

Michael Kimble is a passionate freedom fighter and anarchist who has been held captive by the Alabama Department of Corrections since November 12, 1987. After defending himself and a friend during a homophobic attack by a known white supremacist, Michael was arrested, charged with murder, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison. His trial was typical of what could be expected from a racist criminal justice system in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Konstantinos "Dinos" Giagtzoglou

Anarchist comrade Konstantinos Giagtzoglou was arrested on October 28th 2017, while exiting a hideout rented by him under a false identity and while transferring guns and explosive materials. Ntinos is accused of being a member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and for sending parcel bombs to various E.U. officials including the former prime minister of Greece, Loukas Papadimos. The cops’ accusations are based on a mixed DNA sample and on the fact that Ntinos was visiting a former anarchist prisoner in Korydallos prison in early 2013.
