Krow

Krow is an environmental and indigenous rights activist who faced charges stemming from a June 2013 Penokee Defenders protest that disrupted GTAC bore hole drilling at a mine site on the Penokee Range. On January 21, 2015 Krow was sentenced to 9 months plus 5 years of supervised release.  Krow was released on November 1, 2015.

Krow was then assaulted and arrested on February 4, 2017, by a Bureau of Indian Affairs officer while supporting the struggle against the Dakota Access pipeline in North Dakota. Krow was charged with violation of felony probation, resulting from previous charges and jailtime stemming from the environmental protest in Wisconsin against mining in the Penokee Hills in 2013. Krow was released to a halfway house in summer 2017.
